Linen fibers are obtained from the flax plant, which is extremely sensitive to care and cultivation. The fibers in the stem part of the flax plant surrounded by a hard shell are mostly harvested by hand in order to not to be damaged. In order to remove the fibers, which are in a very hard structure, without causing any damage, a meticulous work is carried out, mostly using intensive hand labor. The fibers obtained are converted into top quality linen threads in the deep-rooted Italian plants, adhering to the naturalness of the linen. Linen fibers, which are naturally covered with a waxy substance, acquire a much more beautiful form when used and washed.

Linen, originally intended for use in Egyptian and Greek societies, was brought to southern Europe by the Phoenicians.   • If you decide to wash it in the washing machine, we recommend using a clothing bag to protect it from the hooks and check the label with the washing information and symbols.
  • In both cases, a hand or machine, make sure that the garment is well rinsed, the remains of soap can leave stains on the fabric.
  • Do not use tumble dry and dry hanging with a hook in the shade.
